description of my flat plate leading edge is x=-.5 and trailing is at .5 thickness is .02=y i have to generate a o-grid with 2 blocks split at the x=0 so please kindly sort out this problem |

Hello Bhanu.
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean by "suffer with the number of grid points at the thickness." Perhaps you're asking how many points to put on the blunt leading and trailing edges of the plate and then now to blend that spacing into the points used on the upper and lower surface. If that's a correct summary of your issue, that's very easy to handle and the best way to take care of it is to contact our Technical Support at support@pointwise.com. One factor that's important will be your wall spacing as a fraction of the plate's thickness and what cell aspect ratio your solver is able to tolerate. Best regards. |
