Is anyone using OpenFOAM on Mac OS X?
I have a Macbook running OSX, 10.5 and am trying to run OpenFOAM to analyse some as aspects of a Formula Student car I am designing. I have attempted to follow the instructions here: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Ho...l_OpenFOAM_Mac I seem to be getting stuck with the .bashrc file. If anyone has any experience of this could they help me? Cheers Nick |

Have you posted this on the OpenFOAM forum? Maybe it would be easier to get help there.

I do not want to be accused of dropping names, but try and chase prof. Eric Paterson form Penn State. He recently switched his OpenFOAM work onto a Mac and he's spreading the good news. I am sure he will be able to offer some guidance or even provide a dmg for you.
We are looking at the best way to provide easy access to OpenFOAM on a Mac - please check the Forum. Enjoy, Hrv |

Use .profile file instead of .bashrc file.
