jbsp is on a distinguished road
Hi all,
I am looking for data on the wake length (recirculation length) of various bluff bodies against reynolds number. Of particular interest are circular cylinders and flat plates normal to the flow. Can anyone point to any good papers on this? My data (behind the flat plate) suggests a lowering in the recirc length until Re=1500 and then a gradual increase. I'm wondering if this makes physical sense or not.
Thanks!
