Solidification & Melting Curves

Hi all, I see in most literature - solidification and melting process is defined to follow the same rates - add or remove the latent heat. Is this true in reality?
Could someone direct me to literature on tracing the melting and cooling curves for different liquids such as water etc? Thanks, CFDtoy |
