Hello!
I have a question about radiation. In a closed system we can calculate the mean beam length by using 3.6*V/A. But what about open systems? Assuming I have a giant flare and some structure close by. I have to analyze the effect of flare radiation on this structure. Would the mean beam length just be the distance between the two or would it be something else?
Please let me know if anyone has an idea about this. I'd really appreciate the help!
Thanks
