Hi all, i just started learning cfd. i was fed up with tutorials in fluent which simply say " enter 5 for initial thickness,2 for spacing etc etc". i actually want to know how to arrive at these values, i mean how to determine grid size, no of layers for boundary layer etc......so i am starting this discussion with a simple flow analysis.
"laminar flow in a pipe of some random size"... can anybody help me how to start this problem. My requirement is how to generate the appropriate Grid for this problem. |
