I've been working on a GT 1-D simulation, and am now looking into combustion simulation to develop performance, emissions and knock limits for my model. I think ideally I would like to couple GT with a CFD package, but this isn't an absolute requirement.
I am looking for suggestions and experiences with ICE CFD packages. So far I have been looking at: ANSYS/Reaction Design Forte, Convergent Science Converge (AMR and direct coupling with GT looks promising), CD-Adapco ES-ise, and AVL Fire. Please post any recommendations or experiences! |
