CGNS - convert BC from node to face

IcemCFD gives one the option of exporting a cgns mesh with the BC applied at either node or face. However, Gridgen only seems to know about applying the BC to nodes. The solver's pre-processor wants face-based BC's. Is there an easy way of doing the conversion? A quick glance at the cgns documentation and tools did not produce an easy solution.

Hi Charles,
The CGNS export in Gridgen was changed in July to be face-based. Pointwise's CGNS export is also face-based. If you update your installation to Gridgen Version 15.12, you should be OK. |
