Default level set reinitialization

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with the reinitialization procedure of the level set method. I'm solving phi_t + S(phi_0)*(|grad phi| - 1) = 0 using 5th order WENO and RK TVD scheme to steady state. My problem is that my resulting level set function has small oscillations on it, which corrupt the computation of the curvature field after a few iterations.

Does anyone know where these oscillations may come from?

Thanks in advance.

greets uter

Do you know how to implement this library into OF? Could you give us some hints?
