Hi, I have a question. Do I really need to go through with all the surface meshing in ANSA if I later will go on and export my model to Harpoon and do my surface & volume meshing there, or is it sufficient to "only" clean my model in ANSA?

Hi Boris,
Harpoon does not require a surface mesh as input and there are hole fixing and wrapping features within Harpoon. If the geometry is particularly dirty and complicated it may save time to clean it up a bit in a ANSA or your CAD package but you will not have to go to the lengths usually required to generate a watertight surface mesh. |
