Hello Everybody

I intend to use Weiss & Smith Preconditioning method to analyze low Mach number flow over a body. while it is very clear in the paper how to calculate convective fluxes (use Roe Scheme) , i fail to observe in the paper is the method to follow for calculating viscous fluxes.

Could anyone please guide me regarding that ?

I haven't dug into the paper all the way, but in general one multiplies both Euler and viscous terms with the preconditioning matrix. Therefore the steady state solution will be the same regardless of whether preconditioning was used or not.

Thanx for your reply.
I assume one can discretize the viscous flux using conventional methods and not linearization first and then producing the jacobian matrix etc etc.
