I'm currently doing some cfd research at the university, however I have some trouble importing my catiaV5 drawings into icem cfd v10. It seems that if I import these files as a stp or igs file type some of geometry is missing afterwards. Does anyone has an idea how to import catia V5 geometry files into icem v10 correctly?

You have legal access to ICEM, the best place to get answers to your queries is Your Support Engineer or ICEM forum

I convert CATIA V5 files in CATIA into CATIA V4 files. These can be read in with the ICEM CATIA V4 Reader.

I'd say that it is always better to convert it into IGS or STL file before...
