i am trying to simulate a lid-driven cavity flow problem in ansys fluent.in my case the left wall is moving vertically upwards.however, after the simulation is over, i want to calculate the average nusselt number on the translating left wall. i am doing the following-----reports>surface integrals>wall fluxes>surface nusselt number and then finally selecting area weighted average from the drop-down list.but, the nusselt number i am getting is an absurd value. can anyone please tell me how to do this?????.......however, if anyone is interested to see my case then i can mail you. please its very urgent............i need it. moreover, according to the journal papers which i am reviewing, the nusselt number is defined as follows: Nu=-integral(limit 0 to 1)[d(theta)/dX]dY.
can tecplot be used to calculate this??????????????? |
