I had written a panel code and now want to add a boundary layer model to it. I have read a book of Tuncer Cebeci & Jean Cousteix entitled Modeling and computation of boundary layer flows. I found the finite difference solution of boundary layer interesting, so want to try it for a 2D foil.
In the method an ordinary differential equation is solved from stagnation point. Now everything is clear except for the initial condition. Does anybody know how to set the values of at stagnation point? |
