Hello friends,
I am working on a problem for a long time. but I am having problems with the results. I would like to hear your views on this subject. I briefly describe the problem: 4 square cylinder placed in square condition. 1 and 2 of the cylinder's front. 3 and No. 4 cylinders behind. y + = 1 and k-omega SST model is used. time step size is 0.002. Re = 8000. results true for cylinders 1 and 2. but I get an error in the range of 50-80% for cylinders 3 and 4. I've got two pieces of mesh. screenshotts is down. (inlet and outlet are shown opposite) The green example: Calculated Cd value lower than the value that should be, Purple in color example: Calculated Cd value higher than the value that should be read. Waiting for your help in order to establish the correct model. thanks |

Your photos are not visible.
Can you share what you are comparing your results against? How do you know the aft cylinders are off by 50%-80%? |
