Default transient heat flux in FLUENT

Dear All,

I am modelling transient heat conduction in a nuclear fuel rod using Fluent 5.0. A part of the post-processing involves plotting dT/dx and dT/dy versus time, at some given locations in the rod.

I have tried unsuccessfully to write a user-defined function for this. I used C_UDSI(c,t,i) and C_UDSI_G(c,t,i). However, these don't serve the purpose, because the function would return the "magnitude" of the heat flux, not the axial and radial heat fluxes separately.

I'd appreciate very much if any FLUENT useers out there could help me. Thanks!

Jayanti Sinha.
