What's the difference between CFD & FEM-FOR-FLUID?

Hi everyone,
I would like to know what is the difference between COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS and FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR FLUID? Which is FUNDAMENTALS and which is ADVANCED? Best regards Balaaditya |

CFD refers to any numerical method use to solve fluid flows.
There are several methods to solve flows : Finite volume method Finite element method Boundary element method Lagrangian method Discrete element method etc. |
