I am looking for a 3-D laminar flow test case(s) to validate a 3-d unstructured grid compressible Navier-Stokes solver. I have already solved the laminar flat plate and cylinder problems. Are there any other test cases with analytical or experimental results for validation ?

Dear Praveen,
1.Supersonic laminar flow past a missile--like configuration (Moschetta et.al., "Numerical investigation of supersonic vortical flow about a missile body", J.Spacecraft and Rockets 32(5), 1995). 2.Subsonic flow past a delta wing, details of which is available at CFL3D website. 3.Supersonic laminar flow past a bump in channel (Parthasarathy and Kallinderis, " A Multigrid Navier-Stokes Scheme on Adaptive-Prismatic Grids") While there are experimental data for comparison in (1), I think only computational results are available for (2) and (3). Hope this helps. Regards, Ganesh |

Thanks. They are what I was looking for. Now I have to generate an unstructured grid.
