Hi,
I am coupling STAR-CCM+ with GT-Power for analyzing the EGR distribution in a 3D model of an intake manifold. My problem is that once the coupled simulation starts, the MAF rapidly increases from 180kg/hr to more than 300kg/hr. I have not got any RLT sensors connected to the intake manifold's region in GT Power model and I am sure that my GT model is not under-predicting. I have already checked the EGR controller and it is constant once the coupled simulation starts so it has no effect to the results change. Any ideas what can cause this rapid increase in my air mass flow? Do you think the problem is in STAR-CCM+ or it might be something wrong with my GT model. Many thanks |
