Gas flow through capillary

Hi, I am a newbie in flow dynamics simulation. I am currently working on a CFD problem:
A glass capillary was inserted between atmosphere and vacuum chamber. The chamber is pumped and the pressure is maintained at several millibars. The inner diameter of the capillary is ~0.5mm. I would like to solve speed field of the inside of capillary, and inlet and outlet region of the capillary. And also want to estimate pressure inside the capillary. As a beginner in the field, I have no idea how to solve the problem. The only thing I can solve is I have estimated the flow inside the capillary is laminar flow. Would any one help me on the problem? Thanks. --Toyonline |
