Fellow CFDOnliners,
I've struggled for hours trying to do something seemingly simple. I have a Solidworks File which has a solid body. This needs to have the coordinate system modified and then exported out to a STL format. I need to use this for Post Processing however, everytime I am opening up the exported STL in Paraview, the coordinate origin seems to move to the front or rear corner of the envelope of the car model. I've tried using my own coordinate definition and chose this while exporting. Paraview doesn't seem to support geometry formats except STL. a) Are there any alternatives for me to import a CAD model into Paraview? b) Is it possible to shift the model so that the central plane is aligned with the x-axis at the origin? I would like the final STL file to be exactly the same orientation as the Solidworks file in the link below. Looking forward to your comments and really appreciate the help. Here are the Files.
