Hi Everyone,

I'm simulating a case where we have an object which disperses toxic gas into a room. we know the mass concentration of the toxic gas which is diffused into room. In real case, the gas is not continuously diffusing/ operating throughout the time. But, it works for a specific time period in a cycle.

We have simulated the same problem with assumption that the gas is been continuously diffusing into the room. Thereby causing the highest toxic level to exist inside the room. When we try to compare the CFD results with experimental value it has been found the values are double the experimental values.

We found that the higher values of toxicity is due to the assumption that the object is continuously diffusing. Please help me how to average the values of mass concentration that is being diffused in a cycle.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Vignesh V.
