What is the difference between usinga symmetric B.C. as opposed to a slip wall B.C.? Also what is the symmetric boundary condition in terms of characteristic boundary equations?
For slip wall at x = a (a < x < b) it is L1 = (u + a)(dP/dx - rho*a*du/dx) L2 = 0 L3 = 0 L4 = L1 + 2*rho*a*g Thompson, K.V., Jour.Comp.Phys.(89) 439-461 Shuo |
