Dear sir, i have seen 2 types of cylidrical navier stoke equation . what is the analogy between them.

1. 1/r d(ru)/dr+ dv/dz=0

or

d(ru)/dr + d(rv)/dz =0

They are identical, r and z are independent coordinates

d(rv)/dz = r dv/dz
