Hi all

I need a correct equation for compressible NS I see the equations are different

The density in momentum equations are treated differently e.g:: rho*u1*du1/dx+rho*u1*du2/dy+....

but in another equation d(u1*rho)/dx+.....

Why they are different? Thanks in advance , Selim

Hi,

I guess you are refering to the convective term in the momentum equation?

If so, you can use the continuity equation to move from one formulation to the other..
