Boundary Conditon for Euler

When solving compressible Euler equations for a flow domain involving a solid wall what would be an appropriate boundary condition, assuming the flow be supersonic

Set the normal component of velocity to the wall to be zero,tangential component and other quantities can be extrapolated.
Another way is,setting normal component to be zero and using the equation of characteristics to set the other variables ( Refer to hirsch) |
