Hello CFD community!
I would like to validate a CFD code against analytical solution. Do You know cases which could be used to validate solvers listed below: 1. Inviscid, Compressible 2. Laminar 3. Turbulent I would also appreciate any references on that subject. Mateusz |

Hello,
You can use the simple case to test as 1/ oblique shock through the RAM 2/ Lid driven cavity: the results are avaiable fir both laminar and turbulence |

Hi Matthew,
check out the cfd-online wiki. http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Valid...and_test_cases Many of those are stubs, but some references are available usually. Maybe you can share your experiences later and extend those articles. =) A more general list of validation sources is available in the links section http://www.cfd-online.com/Links/refs.html#validation With regards, Sebastian |
