How We Can Define Kinetic Turbulent Energy In LES?What Difference Between Definition Of Kinetic Turbulent Energy In LES And RANS? |

In LES turbulence modeling is only applied to scales of the flow which are less than filtering length. So, turbulence terms are defined within these ranges. While in RANS turbulence model is defined all over the flow field.
