Advection Diffusion Solver

I put together an online solver of the advection-diffusion equation that some of you may enjoy. You can find it at http://www.particleincell.com/blog/2...ion-diffusion/. It uses Crank Nicolson Finite Volume formulation, and all computations and plotting are done with Javascript and HTML5. There is also a pdf attached that goes through the derivation of the coefficients.
This solver (well the original Java version) is part of a project I am working on to model diffusion of water vapor into a purged cavity. The next step will be a NS solver for the purge gas flow. Anyone has any experience with such an approach for a 2-specie problem? |
