Does anyone know where I can find some free FORTRAN 77 codes (routines) on basic numerical analysis, such as:
- Polynomial Curve Fitting, eg, in a least squares sense - Finding X in this matrix equality: AX=B , computed by, say, Gaussian elimination with partial pivoting I need them for part of my design code which will analyzed later by a CFD program. Please let me know. Thanks a lot. Anne |

You can see a book commonly titled 'numerical recipe'. I saw the "Numerical recipe" containing fortran codes.

Actually, the Numerical Recipes are on-line, for instance on the server of Cornell University.
