Hi there,
I am using an in-house finite difference code which has the values located at the grid vertices and I need to calculate the pressure force acting on a wall boundary. I am using a structured mesh. Because the code uses generalized coordinates and grid metrics, I was thinking if I can perform the integration on the computational domain and then obtain the real force using the jacobian of the transformation. i.e. where and J is the Jacobian of the transformation between x,y,z (or x,y,S(x,y)) and xi,eta, zeta. Is that possible? Thank you very much |
