sarkawt909 is on a distinguished road
dear all,

i need to model a 3d blast wave propagation in urban environment (air) and calculate its effect on buildings.

and for that i need to do it using my own code as i am trying to develop a CFD code for a 3d software that i am using and quite familiar with how to programming for it.

my questions for doing a CFD code for only calculating blast wave are:

- can i do my code with only using C# as i am familiar with C#?, i could use c++ too but i have to learn it i think it would delay me a bit.

- how to prepare the IC, and properties of air ?, if some one can reference me to something i would appreciate it.

- do i need to program to calculate everything in the books of CFDs like turbulence ,...etc ? as i have only one task for my code.

- if i am not developing my own code and instead using another software as a slave that already exist to do the CFD for me and translate its results to the 3D software that i try to develop a CFD code for? if that is possible can some help me with how to do that.

i will appreciate any help or recommendation or reference that you could share with me.

kind regards
