Hi all
how can averaged velocity components in time? In turbulent flow in channel, I need to indicate duration of time for time-averaging. Can anyone help me? Thank you. |

It depends on what you are interested in. If you are performing a steady simulation it won't matter anyway since eventually you will average over the whole converged part of your simulation.

for each grid point of your computational domain where you have computed the velocity.
sum the U componnent obtained for each time step at that grid point and divide the sum by the number of time step do the same for each grid point do the same for the V componnent |
