MUSCL-Interpolation for boundary cells

Hi, everybody.
I'm currently working on the MUSCL scheme. I understand that the MUSCL scheme use piecewise linear approximations of each cell to obtain left and right state for each face, as shown in the following figure: However, what if the cell is adjacent to boundary? For example, in the figure above, suppose that is adjacent to boundary, and does not exist. In this situation, how can I determine the slope of in cell ? My current method is set the slope of to zero for cell . Is this method appropriate? Thank you very much. |
