Internal Energy in Fluent

Hi everybody,
Can any one help with the internal energy? how does Fluent calculate it? i am filling a 100L PCM tank with cold water through heat exchangers, the issue is that the calculated gained energy: (mCp delta T) dt dosen't match with the internal energy of the tank calculated by Fluent!! Could any one help please?? |

Hi Yo,
Are you sure that the internal energy in Fluent means exactly the same that you are looking for? Find out on user guide the definition equation for internal energy. Regards, |
