Hello everyone, I’d like to investigate nanofluid turbulent flows inside tubes.
1) Are the standard or scalable turbulence wall functions suitable for nanofluid flows? If they are not, what do you suggest I do? 2) Can thermophoretic force be neglected? Because the temperature gradient of the silver nanoparticles (with high thermal conductivity) is very little. 3) Can Brownian motion be neglected? Because of the fact that the diffusion speed of the Kolmogorov turbulence is much faster than that of the Brownian motion? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

what about the Kolmogorov length in your problem? I am not sure you can have a real turbulent field due to the law scales in microfluidic...
