Hi friends,

I am unable to design a cylinder in gambit. I am blocked with my project. Can kindly someone help me please. Kindly check for the attachment of what actually I am trying do.

Project details follows

Fuel Spray In Engine Cylinder

To study and compare the spray length, cone angle of the spray and droplet size inside the cylinder of petrodiesel and biodiesel.
. 3 orifices at 120° each
. At the end of compression,
Air pressure = 30-40 bar at 250° C
Fuel pressure = 250 bar

Arrangement : A cylinder arrangement of a diesel engine with the two valves in the closed position. An injector is placed in the middle vertically, the nozzle tip has 3 orifices placed at 120° each. Orifice dia being 0.6mm.
All the dimensions of the cylinder arrangement to be taken according to any specific standard.

Thank you.

Hello Naresh

do you want to model with valves?, It will be complex with , I would suggest model only cylinder. Its easy to model cylinder with hexa msehing in ansys icem.
True grid can also be used.

thanks
