I am looking to simulate the filling of a tank of air to analyse a valve which I am currently designing. I am looking to do this on both Ansys (CFX or Fluent) and on OpenFOAM using CAE Linux 2011. This is to ensure that the valve will not negatively affect the fill of the tank. How would I go about setting up the BC's for this if I modelled the body of air for an open valve along with the tank which is being filled. The tank is being filled to a pressure of 207 Bar (300PSI) and starts at a pressure of approximately 1 Bar. How would I go about running this simulation?
