Hi

I'm trying to simulate a valve but I don't achieve convergence. It is a very simple model (comparable to a von Karmans street).

Star CCM
Stat.
RANS SST kw
Air
20-25m/s
good mesh and Boundary layers

I note a relationship when looking at the residuals and force monitor (force on walls).

You find both diagrams attached.

Can someone tell me if this actually is a transient effect and the reason why I'm not achieving convergence?

Cheers :-)
