I am solving shock tube problem using Harten Large Time Step Scheme (1986 paper)and for K=2, CFL=1.8 my results are not satisfactory its showing oscillation. What can be the possible reasons for it??
I've uploaded graph of my results by name EP DIFF |

you should take a look on following paper:
On large time step TVD scheme for hyperbolic conservation laws and its efficiency evaluation http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...21999112003889 use eq 9 or eq 10 of above paper to calculate numerical flux. Your problem would be solved. |
