Default ADVISE ON HOT WIRE ANEMOMETRY

Hi all,

I need to measure a fluctuating flow a the exit of the ventilated (channels) disc. I know that according to angular speed I will need to set the logging rate of the anemometer. The instrumentation systems is in summary:

HOT WIRE->AMPLIFIER->DATA LOGGER->(LBVIEW)COMPUTER

Can you advise on Data loggers type?, I know it can be a serial port (COMM) or a PCI... the problem is that I do not have a clue of which PCI can be the most appropiate, IF for instance I need to read at a rate of 1200 Hz

Any thought is welcome.

regards,
