hello every body i am modeling a combustion rig. i am using specie transport model and diffusion flame.

my major problem is related to fluent nox module. i want to simulate reduction of nox using SNCR. i did employ the fluent nox module and make the sncr option on but i didnot get the results as solution didnot proceed any further and fluent gives the message that " solution is converged". i also have difficulty in defining ammonia injection.

any body can give me some hint. plz help me waiting for mail thank you

Maybe you already find a solution.

There is an indication from the Fluent User guide which may help you:

"When you begin iterating with the NOx model enabled, FLUENT may report that the solution has converged after the first iteration. This is due to the lack of ignificant levels of pollutants in the solution. You can force FLUENT to continue iterating by repeated iteration requests. Once pollutants appear in the solution, FLUENT will continue iterating on its own until a steady solution is achieved."

yes that i already know this thing from the fluent help available to me but it didnot actually help me. may i ask you that did u have used that model succesfully. if u have used that model then i will ask u again about my problem more comprehensively. thanks
