Hello
For those who favors open source software I discovered that you can go to http://www.inria.fr, click on the little english/american flag and look at the projects (Geometrica, prism, graal, xtermOS, MOISE). If you scroll down in the software section or the team's web site you will access the page that links toward the open sources. For example: http://simgrid.gforge.inria.fr/ http://www.cgal.org/opensource_frame.html or search by themes: http://www.inria.fr/recherche/equipe.../index.en.html http://www.inria.fr/recherche/equipe...me_Num.en.html You can find one of the first polyhedral mesher (certainly copied at some point by some commercial software to make you pay the price), numerical algorithm routines, visualzation, etc... You can even participate or subscribe to the mailing list. Rob. |
