I know very little about FLUENT. I would like to know if there is anyway I can export Pressure data from results of a FLUENT run, as Loads for ANSYS? I am solving a flow through a pipe, and I just want to impose the pressure data from FLUENT onto the structure of the pipe in ANSYS.

Regards

Omer

in FLUENT you can use "interpolate" to produce a text file with the pressure values. in ANSYS, and I have not used it for some time, I am not sure how to read this text file in a load Table. When you get the answer to this second part, it will be highly appreciated if you post it. Good luck with whatever you are doing

I am not sure if "interpolate " will work. Because there seems to be all pressure values but no node locations. I have a question though, can I import a surface mesh from ANSYS to FLUENT and then interpolate the results on to this mesh? I will be writing in, if I find anything useful.

You have to select what values you want to interpolate and what region, zone ...(Check the interpolate help) You can export from ANSYS to Gambit, look what file format are available on your system
