combustion in internal combustion engine

Hi everybody! I have written a code for 3D unsteady, compressible, turbulent, flow in an internal combustion engine and now the next step is to find the flow of the mixture (air- fuel). Once I find the concentration of the fuel in every finite volume, then I could either follow the main route, which is the combustion, or consider for example that the mixture in that volume is homogenised and if the temperature and the pressure are high enougp, then the mixture will be burned... Any other ideas, in order to avoid to simulate combustion, but find from another method the results of the combustion?
Thank you in advance |
