Hi everybody, I'm gathering infos about mesh generator for meshing marine propellers in hexahedral : has anyone experience in this field ? If so, wich generator do you use ? Thanx

I wrote a fortran code to mesh marine propellers. it is a little bit tricky to use, but works most of the time. it generates an hexa mesh to feed Comet. I can give you more informations

it works quite well for conventional propellers with not extreme skew. the geometrical input is a file with xyz face and back coordinates for a large enough number of spanwise sections. the hub is cylindrical with a taper to the shaft. the mesh is done inside a cylindrical domain of prescribed dimensions. it is automatic in the sense that you can play only with a number of parameters do define stretching, cell number, dimension of the domain.... no cad at all inside. I can send you some image if you want ubik
