with warmest greetings
Dear all I want to model a vessel in the wave tank (3D modeling is in priority) and see the reactions (motion responses) of my vessel in different situations when the waves hit it. It is important that the waves only propagate in one direction. I know a little bit that I have to use dynamic mesh, multiphase(VOF), open channel and CG motion (6DOF in udf) in FLUENT. I just wonder how to make waves(esp: irregular waves) especially with the current of water and wind hitting the vessel. Please help me how to integrate both effects in a wave tank.
