Hello everybody, I have just get information about existence of the open CFD code OpenFoam, (please forgive me). I'd like to know, how is this program suitable for the modelling of the incompressiblle turbulent reacting flow in gas turbine combustors. How is it with mesh generation of the high complexity volumes? Does anybody have experiences with combustion modelling using this software? Thanks, Radek.

Radek, OpenFoam is suitable for your case. There is a basic solver for desiel combustion. Maybe you modify the application as you want. For the detail, you can refer the OpenFoam web or its bbs(http://openfoam.cfd-online.com).
Good luck! |
