I am looking for any help with writing UDF for special application. I deal with modeling the wet steam flow in turbomachinery a need support with setting the physical properties of steam by means of look-up tables. As well known, look-up tables provide in memory stored discrete values of T, v or S for each cell based on predefined values from 2D diagrams instead of exact analytical computation of the T, v and S. This makes the CFD simulation much faster. I am not a programmer. I work in Fluent but welcome whatever information about using look-up tables in CFD. Does anyone have any experience with that?
Thanks in advance! J. Novak |
