Hi everyone,
A few papers have been discussing the validity of Reynolds analogy. Some said it is not valid, such as in the case of backward facing step with seperation, or in the region where the wake of cylinder interacts with the boundary layer on a flat plate.
There were some computations about the validity of Reynolds Analogy, but most of them were based on the LES or DNS methods. Can the RANS method be used? or does the RANS method itself involve some thoughts of Reynolds Analogy and can not be used?
